About Stephen
Stephen specializes on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions transactions with a strong emphasis on providing solution-based advice in relation to compliance issues. He also advises clients on investigations and contentious regulatory matters, and has extensive experience acting on behalf of debtors and creditors in relation to contentious and non-contentious restructuring and insolvency matters involving multi-jurisdictional litigation and arbitration.
Stephen advised on a case which has been awarded the “China Business Law Journal: Deals of the Year 2024 – M&A” and the “LegalOne Merits (Exemplary) 2024” and recognised in the “LegalOne Deals of the Year (China) 2023”.
Before taking up various roles with public companies listed on the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong acting as General Counsel, Company Secretary or Independent Directors, he worked at the Listing Division of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong administering the Listing Rules and vetting IPO applications.
Stephen is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
